A city official will visit our office tomorrow to inspect the various aspects of our fire safety precautions. 

As part of the visit, we will test the fire alarm at 9:30 A.M. 

Usually, you have to exit the building when you hear the alarm sound. 

But since this is only a test, you can just ignore it. 

In preparation for the visit, I’ve asked the maintenance team to make sure that all of our fire extinguishers are up to date. 

The team will examine those today and replace any that have passed their expiration date.
